Case study

An AI that argues back — and sometimes wins.

A screen-time buddy you can argue with — and sometimes win. A Build engagement, design through store release — the same shape we offer client work in.

The problem

Most screen-time apps rely on hard limits and guilt — a wall that a determined thumb finds a way around within a week. They also tend to lean on tracking to work, which trades one problem (too much screen time) for another (a product that profits from watching you closely).

The approach

A conversational GenAI core that talks back instead of just blocking — the product argues with you in the moment instead of relying on willpower alone — paired with limits and Pomodoro-style focus modes for when a conversation isn't what's needed. It caps the genuinely low-value scroll (reels) rather than every minute on the phone, and is built to collect nothing it doesn't need — a deliberate architecture decision, not a policy afterthought.

Where it stands

Live on the App Store and Google Play, part of 180K+ combined downloads across our two products. A per-app breakdown and store ratings will land here once pulled from the stores.
